Advisory Board

I grew up in the east side Curtis Park projects along with many other boxers to name a few DC Barker , Billy parks , Lightning Lonnie Smith , Little Butt Bad Stevie Johnson , Larry Barnes, Larry Bonds, and the man that introduced me to boxing at age 11 Ron Lyle. Under my coach Scott Ardrey I had a record of 47-4. I won the AAU (amateur athletic Union) 2 times and the Junior Olympics once at 17. I also won the B class championship in the Golden Gloves. I competed in the A Class division at the Golden Gloves but lost the championship to Skip Kapp, a well know boxer out of Colorado Springs. I had to stop boxing when I sustained an injury to my hand. I burnt my right and so I stopped boxing for awhile. My wife seen A 1 boxing and said I should go coach and give back to the community so I made my come back to boxing as a coach. I since opened up my own boxing gym called Brick City Boxing.
